Suresh Kashyap flagged off the regular flight service between Shimla to Amritsar
Shimla November 18, 2023: As per media reports, regular flight service between Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) and Amritsar Punjab) was flagged off by Shimla MP and former Himachal Pradesh BJP president Suresh Kashyap on Saturday.
According to the news published in The Tribune with PTI inputs, Kashyap said this service will provide a boost to tourism and will be beneficial for the state.
He added that soon the Jubbal Hatti airport in the suburbs of the state capital will also be expanded, according to a statement issued here.
For this work, he especially thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Anurag Thakur, National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, Union Aviation Minister, former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, and BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal.
He said that according to the Airlines Dynamic Rate, airlines are giving good rates on some seats, but the last seats are expensive and we would also send our suggestions to the Centre in this regard.
“We will also discuss in the Lok Sabha how the price of these tickets can be reduced”, Kashyap added.
On this occasion, Director Airport Shimla Dhan Pal, members Karan Nanda, and Gaurav Kashyap were especially present.
