Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday announced a WhatsApp number and email address for obtaining feedback from industrialists to create a business-friendly atmosphere in the state. This was done to boost the sector.
The chief minister said in a statement released today that the state government was the only one in the nation to formulate policies in accordance with the recommendations of the stakeholders.
He gave instances, saying that the state administration has asked for opinions before introducing various programs including free electricity, Aam Aadmi Clinics, and canal water supplies. According to him, as a result of these programs, approximately 35 lakh people received free medical care at Aam Aadmi Clinics, 90 customers were receiving zero bills, and after 40 years, canal water had finally reached the last villages.
According to the chief minister, the state government decided to support the industry in Punjab in order to set the province on a high-growth trajectory. He claimed that the goal was to turn Punjab into a center of industrial development so that young people would have the most employment options. He said that in addition to bringing in new industrial projects, the government would also provide a business-friendly environment for the region’s already-existing industrial facilities so they could grow.
