Chandigarh, July 10, 2023: Chandigarh Administration has ordered closure of educational Institutes on July 10, 2023.
In orders issued in this regard, it was said that taking into consideration the heavy rainfall since Saturday ie 8th July 2023 and consequent waterlogging in the city and its surrounding areas and as advised vide order dated 9th July 2023 issued by District Magistrate- cum-chairman District Disaster Management Authority Chandigarh, the Directorate of Higher Education has declared holiday today ie 10th July 2023.
However Principals/officials concerned are advised to ensure that the online admission process for undergraduate courses for the academic session 2023–24 shall not be affected and it should remain the same as per the given schedule.
