Ferozepur, July 16, 2023: As per media reports, Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday, arrested two smugglers and recovered opium from them. During night hours on specific information, an operation was launched by BSF on the outskirts of Village – Dhukchi ke Dhushi, Distt – Ferozepur.
At about 01. 15 hrs, alert BSF troops apprehended two smugglers, who were coming from Ferozepur city along with contraband items suspected to be opium (Gross wt – 508 Gms) packed in black polythene.
The apprehended persons along with the recovered contraband handed over to PS – Sadar Ferozepur. Thus, Vigilant troops of BSF, once again, were able to foil nefarious designs of smugglers.
