BJP expels Sandeep Dayma for hate speech about Gurdwaras at party rally
New Delhi, Nov 5, 2023: As per media reports, The Bharatiya Janata Party has expelled party’s Rajasthan controversial leader Sandeep Dayma for his unwarranted and hateful speech about Gurdwaras at a rally in Rajasthan.
Sandeep Dayma, speaking in the presence of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and several other high-profile leaders of the party had made a highly objectionable statement about Gurdwaras and Mosques.
This had blown into a big issue in various states including those heading for Vidhan Sabha Elections.
His statement was criticized widely and the party ultimately decided to act against Dayma.
BJP leadership in Punjab on Sunday sought the expulsion of their party colleague, Sandeep Dayma, over his remarks on gurdwaras at a recent rally in Rajasthan’s Tijara.
A few days ago, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) had also criticised the Rajasthan BJP leader’s remarks.
